Cardiologists

Our cardiologists are all experts in performing imaging of the heart. We offer a comprehensive service of cardiac imaging including MRI, Echo, Stress Echo, ECG, CTCA and Calcium score.

Pain physicians

Our team of pain physicians provide specialist care for patients suffering from chronic pain conditions. We perform procedures onsite including RF ablation and corticosteroid injections to name a few. Our specialists assist patients to overcome their chronic pain by becoming masters of their pain.

Dr Behdin Abed

MD, PG Dip Surg Anat (Melb), FRANZCR Clinical Director, Pinnacle Medical Imaging

Dr Behdin Abed is a Consultant Radiologist, working full-time at Pinnacle Medical Imaging.

Following completion of a Medical Doctorate degree in 2003, he gained extensive work experience as a medical officer in various surgical and medical subspecialties as well as general practice. This includes three years of service registrar in Ear, Nose, and Throat and Head and Neck surgery departments.

Upon successful completion of a Diploma of Surgical Anatomy and his radiology training at the University of Melbourne and Barwon Medical Imaging in Geelong, he completed a fellowship in breast imaging and had further training in MRI and CT Coronary Angiography.

He has a special interest in musculoskeletal MRI as well as Head and Neck and Dental imaging. Dr Behdin is a strong believer that the healthy and collaborative atmosphere at Pinnacle Medical Imaging is a major contributor to good patient care. He is passionate about team working and always welcomes phone calls from our referrers.

Dr Narges Sobhani​

MD,FRANZCR

Dr. Narges Sobhani is a highly experienced Consultant Radiologist with a deep commitment to women’s health.
She earned her Medical Doctorate in 2003 and achieved her FRANZCR (Fellowship in Radiology) in 2015. With comprehensive medical training in both Iran and Australia, Dr. Sobhani has developed a specialised focus on breast imaging.

She completed her Breast Imaging Fellowship at Monash Health in 2017 and has since dedicated her career to this field. Currently, Dr. Sobhani serves at Breast Screen Victoria and has held senior roles in both public and private health sectors, including the Royal Melbourne Hospital.

In addition to her expertise in breast imaging, she completed a specialist fellowship in Neuroradiology at Austin Health, Melbourne, in 2018. Dr. Sobhani’s extensive background and specialised training reflect her dedication to advancing radiological care.
